I am offering creative writing workshops with small groups of young people between the ages of 12 and 17 years. These workshops are based on my work with young people, many of whom initially thought they had nothing worthwhile to say, and yet discovered the poets, rappers, playwrights and performers within themselves...

The backstory

The backstory to the workshops can be found in my Narrative mentoring programmes with young people over the past 18 years, as told in my books My Word ! and Praat jy! These books also contain the raps, poems and a drama text of some of the young people from Kraaifontein, Grassy Park and Wellington whom I had mentored.
